The Art of Story Telling

I have a practice that I cherish deeply, one that involves capturing moments through photos almost every morning. These snapshots are my way of connecting with my family and friends, and I eagerly look forward to sharing them with them at the end of each month. However, one particular morning, as I ventured out for my usual walk, something felt different. I wasn't quite my usual self, and that day, I decided not to take any pictures. Instead, I simply walked, allowing my thoughts to wander.

As I strolled to the end of the park, something magical happened. I found myself enveloped in a captivating melody, a symphony created by the harmonious chirping of the birds. It was an enchanting moment that I couldn't resist capturing, so I took out my phone and recorded the birdsong. With a heart full of gratitude, I continued my walk.

Later, I contemplated using that enchanting melody as my ringtone or perhaps as my morning alarm. However, another idea began to take shape in my mind. Why not incorporate this mesmerising melody into the collage of pictures I create and share with my loved ones each month? It felt like the perfect way to infuse a touch of magic into my visual stories.

As I reflected on this experience, it dawned on me that life often teaches us valuable lessons when we least expect it. Three profound insights stood out:

Experience and Case Studies are Invaluable: Our life experiences and the stories they create are never wasted. They become precious resources that we can draw upon when we least expect it.

Self-Awareness is Key: It's essential to remain self-aware, paying attention to what we hear and see around us. Sometimes, the most extraordinary moments can be missed if we are not present in the moment.

The Art of Storytelling: The ability to weave a narrative, combining our experiences and newfound self-awareness, is a remarkable skill. It allows us to create something truly extraordinary out of the ordinary.

I invite you to watch this six-minute video, which delves deeper into this experience and its life lessons. If you have stories like mine or thoughts to share, I would be delighted to connect and exchange insights.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and thoughts.

Please watch the video to see the pictures and birds songs!
