Why it matters
Get clear on why the change is worth making. If we can’t see why something matters, we won’t stick with it. Sometimes one good reason is all it takes.
One idea, two halves: the book that untangles life’s complexities, and the simple, repeatable model that grew out of writing it.
How to Simplify Life’s Complexities, with Vijay Kumar Gambhiraopet
Most of us feel buried under complexity and noise, wishing life were a little simpler. Simplexity is a practical guide to getting there. It’s a clear, grounded way to think through the tangled problems we all run into, at work and at home.
A lot of what looks complicated is really just simple things arranged in a confusing way. We overthink it, we exaggerate it, and we turn the simple into the complex. Each chapter uses real stories from work and life to leave you with at least three things you can use right away.
It’s a personal book, full of real stories that run from childhood to now, and it shows how small, deliberate changes can untangle even the knottiest problems.

Connect on LinkedInAs I worked through my own challenges and coached others through theirs, I developed the Simplexity Transformation Model (STM). It’s a simple framework designed to help people navigate complex situations in both work and life. The model is straightforward, but applying it requires persistence. Real change is rarely instant, people notice what has been quietly changing within you. Stay the course, trust the process, and be prepared to adapt as you learn.

Name the difficulties and drawbacks that might stop you. Write them all down, even the ones that seem unrelated, because they still get in the way.
Map out strategies that capture the benefits while dealing with the challenges. They can be activities, practices or tasks. Aim for at least three.
Turn those strategies into a plan and start with the simplest tasks in everyday life. Keep it practical and easy to track, and ask for feedback so you can see real change.

Three ways I work with leaders, and each one feeds the next. What I learn on stage shapes the workshops I run, the workshops sharpen the one-to-one coaching, and the coaching brings fresh stories back to the stage. One continuous cycle.
