Have you ever walked out of a meeting and wondered, "What did we actually discuss? Did we make any decisions? Was that even worth our time?"

Too often, we leave meetings feeling like the conversation went in circles, nothing was resolved, and valuable time was lost.

If this sounds familiar, it's worth asking ourselves a bigger question. Are we creating conversations that move people forward, or are we simply filling the room with words? Do we feel the need to do all the talking, or are we creating space for meaningful dialogue and better ideas?

Great meetings aren't remembered because everyone had something to say. They're remembered because everyone leaves with clarity, direction, and a shared commitment to action.

The next time you lead or attend a meeting, don't just ask whether everyone spoke. Ask whether the conversation created value. That's what great leadership looks like.
